Bank OZK forced overpriced insurance while I was working in good faith to get insurance. After speaking with the VP Rick Malone, the insurance department and showing the many emails between the insurance companies they forced the insurance and the price gouging cost on to me the client.

Most unhelpful bank and technology is lagging. I should have never opened an account with them at the first sign of trouble. Well you made it under a year goodbye Bank Ozk. You have definitely earned your one star.

OZK offered high interest rate for short term CD. When I went to open CD the bank went through a lot of back and forth, asking if anyone in family was important or in politics, finally saying the request was "under review" that would take at least a day. They said they would let me know about the "review". I left and have not heard from then since.

Worst bank out there… run away try chase or trust, acorns or Robinhood. Ozk has the worst service and the reps all have different false stories of hours and they love to charge new clients without a backbone. Run run run don’t bank here

All was fine until I needed to close my account. When trying to do so over the phone, I was told by 2 different people that it could only be done in person. The hours of operation match my work schedule exactly with one exception. I arrived on a Friday afternoon & was told the wait to speak to someone was 30 minutes .
Could have been easily avoided if the silly/crazy in person rule was not in effect.
Definitely would NOT recommend fot this reason.
Most of us have much better things to do with our time. Very poor customer service. Procedures like this one are very unfortunate.

I changed to bank OZK from US Bank because I didn't like what they did with my loan. Bank OZK has the WORST policy on "overdrafts." I can't tell how much money I've lost to their policies. I keep close ties on my account. Sometimes a charge will sneak that I have either overlooked or didn't even know about. Most of the time when that has happened, I've covered the overdraft before there is even an overdraft pending. Happened to me yesterday. I transferred enough money into the account to bring it right. It was right before 6pm. This morning I woke up to a $35 overdraft charge, apparently because I didn't meet their deadline even though I brought it right the same day it happened. As far as I'm concerned that's stealing. Overdraft fees $11.68 billion in 2019. $8.82 billion in 2020 and 9 months into 2021 was already $6.13 billion. It's ridiculous. I'm in the process of moving my bills to a company that gives me the opportunity to pay an overdraft before charging me.

No problems here..online bank pay is a third party but there are no fees associated…have to search for a branch in my area if you need a face to face…had no problems and any phone conversations were polite and knowledgeable staff..would recommend.

This is by far one of the worst banking experiences I have had. The bank continues to set new low expectations, then get even worse.
I financed my new RV with this organization. I would happily refinance with a new organization if it made financial sense.
Their online operation is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I cannot retrieve online statements for my account, because they do not provide this service.
They close online access after six months of not logging in, supposedly for security purposes. This is not a suspension, but an actual closure. The customer is required to go through the process of re-enrolling.
There are simple processes that the bank could engage in to make the customer experience more friendly. However, this bank refuses to engage in customer service.

I am a customer of Bank OZK since Feb 2016. I have filed bankruptcy in 2019 and they are giving me extreme prejudice when making a loan payment on phone. They blocked me from paying online due to chapter 13. They give me the runaround when I try paying on the phone by making me to pay a $3.00 fee. I do not suppose to pay that while I am on chapter 13. After I inform them that, they patch me to collections and I be on hold for almost an hour till I give up waiting on them. I just want them to stop giving me the runaround and giving me prejudice of my bankruptcy status and trying to pay a loan.
