MCBH is found on the island of Oahu. The base is on the windward side of the Mokapu Peninsula near Kaneohe Bay. The base is 15 miles northeast of Honolulu and 20 miles northeast of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. While Oahu is Hawaii's third-largest island, it is still less than 600 square miles, so you can travel to any part of the island within hours.

Upon arrival, contact your assigned unit and your sponsor for in-processing instructions and information.Marines should report to their unit before checking in with the inbound branch of the Installation Personnel Administration Center in Building 1043.
